The Owner

My name is John Simpson. I was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. Nearly twenty years of service with the United States Army as an Airborne Infantryman brought me to Alaska, which I now call home.

I have been cutting trees most of my life, but removing trees around my own property got me into contract climbing, which ultimately let me into the Tree Care Industry. I have completed basic and advanced arborist training and am trained and capable of safely pruning or removing any tree. I consider myself a lifelong learner of arboriculture and continue to strive to learn something new everyday. I love performing tree work and look forward to being your arborist.

In addition to tree work, I’ve also spent over 20 years repairing small engines as a side hobby, but always dreamed of turning it into a business. Over the past several years, I’ve performed multiple service calls throughout Anchorage and the Matsu Valley repairing snowblowers and lawn mowers. I know how frustrating it can be when your equipment is down, and I can get you back up and running again in no time.

Lastly, I am an avid outdoorsman, and enjoy the typical Alaskan hobbies of hunting and fishing, but most importantly, I love being a husband and father to my wife and children.
